At clickDeutsch you will find …

An online-grammar of the German language. It can be used as a language course for beginners, too. The website is divided into different modules and will be amended step by step. The first step covers the language level A1.

Learning by exploring on your own

At the moment there are about 50 modules for the Level A1. Each module itself is an invitation to learn by exploring things on your own. The rules are to be discovered by the learners themselves. Additionally the learners can organize their progression and their pace on their own if they want to.

  • - Texts: getting in by working with several small texts (with questions)
  • - Context: presentation in the context, if possible in form of a dialogue (grammar in context)
  • - Visual: clear and visually distinctive form (red and bold red markers)
  • Explanations: guide to the questions, help by the teachers
  • - Interactive exercises: for self-study or at class
  • - Memo: visually memorable situation, created for the cognitive processing in the language learning process
  • - Elements: components of language as learning matter, “psychological units”

Each module is a kind of picture of the mind. It stimulates the reader to process a grammatical phenomena into a picture in the mind. This picture should be easy to remember, quick to find and to retrieve. These modules together form a kind of grammar-album. Thus they are the visible side of the grammatical information which is put into a form that suits the mind properly.
