Second Language Acquisition

I have been teaching and coordinating Japanese courses at the Unviersity of Cincinnati (UC), Ohio. I am also Director of the Japanese Language and Culture Program at UC. My interests include learners\' perceptions of error feedback, content-based instruction, distance learning education, and assessment of cultural proficiency. I am a member of several organizations such as the American Association for Applied Linguistics, the American Association of Teachers of Japanese, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, and the Japan Association for Language Teaching.
